The best way to get the most out of your working day is to plan ahead, schedule tasks and organize your time efficiently. Prioritizing your workload so you get the most important jobs finished first is essential, no matter what your position in the company.

1. Schedule
Organize your schedule for tomorrow, today! Time blocks could be the best way to do this, although of course you need to be flexible if something important comes up.
2. Plan Ahead
Plan your meetings, write a list and decide beforehand what the main prioritise are, you don’t want to waste your valuable time, or the other persons.

Have a checklist, so you can tick of tasks as they are completed, this way you won’t miss anything out. Its also a great way to see how much you’ve accomplished in your day.
4. Designating
Can you designate any of the tasks on your list to someone else? No man/woman is an Island, and if there is someone who is able and capable of sharing some of the workload you should collaborate with them to get the job done.
5. Set Objectives
Set weekly, monthly or quarterly objectives and goals. These should be realistic but also give you something to work towards.
